Hello Beautiful Glitter Frame Card

Hello lovelies,

I took the longest time for me to make this card. I mulled over it for 3 days after placing the sentiment “Hello Beautiful” in the center. My creative juices were not flowing. As crafters we have to accept that we will have those times when we really don’t have any idea what to do next. And it’s completely ok. Just ride the wave, “the not knowing” will come to an end.

I still have a nagging feeling that it needs something else, it’s not perfect but I am very proud of what it is because the struggle was REAL! Comment below what you do to get out of a creative slump.

Here is a cute framed card for your viewing and making pleasure.

Here is what you will need:

  • Foam Tape
  • Pattern paper (recollections brand specifically the Bible journaling paper stack )
  • White cardstock
  • Glitter cardstock
  • Paper trimmer
  • utility blade/exacto knife and ruler
  • ruler
  • die cut greeting/ word or letter stickers/stamp and ink

Here are the instructions:

  1. Cut patterned paper to 4.25 inches by 5.5 inches.
  2. Cut glitter cardstock frames using utility blade and ruler. The frames i have are 4 x 5.25 inches and 3.75 x 5 inches in dimension
  3. Cut greeting from white cardstock using Cricut Explore. Cut 2 times and glue one to the other to create dimension
  4. Cut a 0.4 by 2 inch rectangle from white cardstock and write on sentiment using Cricut Explore and a pilot V5 pen (or use your hand or stamp). You may also print greeting from your computer and cut to the required size
  5. Place foam tape on the back of the HELLO tag.
  6. Adhere “HELLO beautiful” sentiment to card
  7. Tilt frames slightly and glue to each other where they overlap.
  8. Lay frames on card in position you would like to have them and mark the areas where the frames cover the sentiment so you can cut away those areas for the sentiment to show completely
  9. Place foam tape on frames and adhere to card
  10. Glue completed panel to a 5.5 by 4.25 inches card base.
  11. Your card is complete!
