Hello friends,

It is so good to have you on my blog today. I am sharing two cards made using the newest release from Simon Says Stamp, “Good Luck Charm”. The holographic and gold glitter embossing used on the cards gives an amazing finish. I cannot stop gazing at these cards in the light. I am also enjoying these lovely sentiments from CZ design.

Here is what you need:

Here are the steps:

  • Cut one sheet of dark green cardstock in half (4.25×11) and fold each to form two card bases. From the other sheet cut 4×5.25 inch and 3.75 x 5 inch pieces.
  • Cut a 3.25 inch circle from the gold foil cardstock.
  • Cut a 3.75×2.5 inch rectangle from black cardstock
  •  Apply powder to the front of both panels ensuring you cover the entire surface.
  • Stamp the SSS Shamrock Background with Versamark Ink on both panels
  • Add gold tinsel embossing powder to the large panel and holographic embossing powder to the smaller panel. Heat set both.

  • Lightly ink blend the edges using Versafine onyx black ink to add depth.
  • Using the Simon Says Stamp and CZ Design Well Wishes Clear stamp set, stamp sentiment in Versamark on both. Stamp closer to the top of the circle as you will be cutting off the bottom edge. For the gold circle, emboss words in black and for black rectangle emboss words in gold tinsel.
  • Cut one edge of the stamped black rectangle to form a diagonal and mount on card with foam tape. Add black sequins to accent
  • Align gold circle on gold embossed card panel just so the sentiment is just above the edge. Adhere with foam tape and cut the excess circle off.
  • Mount both panels on your card bases
  • Your cards are finished!
