Sharing this card today made using this beautiful embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp, the floral festoon embossing folder.
Here is what you will need
- Simon Says Stamp Floral Festoon Embossing Folder
- Simon Says Stamp Thanksgiving Place Cards Stamp Set
- Thread
- Foam tape
- Distress inks /watercolor
1. Emboss white cardstock with embossing folder.
2. Using a craft knife cut a wave like shape on the too edge of the embossed card
3. watercolor various colors onto the embossed piece
4. Allow to dry then swipe coordinating distress ink on to embossed piece to highlight embossed areas and add black paint splatter.
5. Adhere foam tape along the wavy back edge of the card front
6. Roll thread around thumb and index finger into 10 small bundles. Press each bundle against the foam tape to form a border of thread at the top of the card front.
7. Add foam tape over the thread to secure then trim the top edges to create the fringe.
8. Stamp sentiment and emboss with white embossing powder. Fussy cut and adhere to card with foam tape.
9. Enjoy your newly made card.
