Simon Says Stamp – Tin Roof stamp, Stylized flower and Hello sunshine dies

Hi friends

Continuing on the beaded card train, I am sharing a project today utilizing products from Simon Says Stamp. If you have been following me for a while you may recognise this layout because I made a similar card a couple years ago with this same floral die. I loved how it looked on that card I had to use it again in the same way. Never mind the tiny holes at the top of the card. They are remnants of an idea that I quickly abandoned. Even so I love how this card turned out, especially the tone on tone stamping.

Hear are the supplies you will need. Click on the supply to view it on the Simon Says Stamp website.

Here are the steps

  • Ink blend pale blush, ripe persimmon and fawn ink on each third of the card front (4×5.25 inches).
  • Place the inks in the same order on the Simon Says Stamp Tin roof 6×6 clear stamp again in thirds, overlapping each a bit so there is some blending between the inks. Stamp on the card front.
  • Pierce a hole in the centre of each flower and attach a bead in the corresponding colour using needle and thread.
  • Cut the stylized flower die from white cardstock twice and adhere each to vellum. Cut the excess vellum from the flower with scissors. Ink blend the center of the flower behind the vellum with ripe persimmon distress oxide ink
  • Cut the hello sunshine die and shadow from peach cardstock and the also cut the shadow from white cardstock.
  • Ink blend the lower edge of the hello sunshine shadow with ripe persimmon distress oxide ink lightly.
  • Adhere the flowers to the card front using glue
  • Adhere the sentiment to the shadows and using foam tape adhere ti to the card front.
  • Mount the card front on a folded 4.25×11 piece of white cardstock
  • Enjoy your card
