Hello lovelies,
This card looks very simple but it showcases a few techniques such as stencils, heat embossing, texture and die cutting.

I used pattern paper from the Bible journaling stack by recollections which I bought at a Michaels store in the USA. You can definitely order this stack online. The floral die cuts were done on my Cricut explore machine and were a struggle because my mats are no longer sticky so intricate die cuts are either hit or miss.
Let’s get into the card.
Here is what you will need:
- Cross stencil
- Texture paste
- palette knife (or dinner knife)
- Holographic embossing powder
- Heat gun (You can’t use a blowdryer!!!!)
- 2 Diecut flowers
- Stamp for sentiment (or print your sentiment using your computer)
- Patterned paper
- White cardstock (for card base)

Here are the instructions:
- Cut your pattern paper to 4.25 by 5.5 inches
- Use your stencil to apply texture paste to the corners of your paper. Spread texture paste through stencil using palette knife.
- Sprinkle holographic embossing powder on to the texture paste when it is still wet
- Dry texture paste overnight and when dry use heat gun to melt embossing powder
- Cut florals from White glitter paper
- Glue flowers to the pattern paper but apply glue in the center of the flower only and lift the edges to create some dimension
- Cut 0.4 x 1.5 inches rectangle and stamp sentiment on it. Mount sentiment on foam tape and place on card. (I used HELLO, that has been written with my Cricut Explore)
- Add white holographic sequins for decoration
- Your card is complete!
