Hi Lovelies,
I hope you are all doing well. I am praying that you continue to keep safe in this time and continue to think positively. For me card making and paper crafts provide an outlet when I am feeling overwhelmed. There is so much to do and so little time. Either way, I am so happy I got to make this card and so excited to share it with you!

Here is what you will need:
- White cardstock (letter sized)
- Black cardstock
- silver glitter cardstock
- Foam tape
- circle punch or circle die (3″) or electronic / manual die cutting machine
- yellow embossing powder
- Heat tool
- Nuvo crystal drops glitter drops – silver moondust
- Sentiment die (3.5-3.75″) or cut file
- Mini greeting from Heidi Swapp stamp set that I don’t know the name of (sorry)
- lavender, yellow, dark turquoise, mint coloured threads
- This lavender and lemon graphic from Etsy
- Printer
- Scissors for fussy cutting

Here are the instructions:
- Cut white cardstock in half and fold to make a card base then cut the remaining cardstock to 5.5 by 4.25 inches for the front card panel
- Print Lavender and Lemon graphic at 4.5 ” long and fussy cut
- Cut sentiment from silver glitter cardstock
- Cut a 3 inch circle from the card panel to form a window using a die, a punch or your electronic cutting machine
- Flip your card panel over and place foam tape around the edge of the circle on the back side. I learnt a trick from Kristina Werner where you remove the backing from both sides of the foam tape and it will be able to curve very easily around the circle so you won’t have to cut multiple pieces.
- Now its time for threading! Starting at the very top of the circle, stretch your thread from one side of the circle to the other, pressing the two ends into the foam tape. Make sure the thread stretches past the tape so there is a little fringe hanging from the edge of the panel and cut it there.
- Continue this process down the circle, ensuring you place threads as close together as possible. you can fill the circle with as much of each colour as you’d like or change order of the colours.
- Place another layer of foam tape on top of the threads to secure them and add two layers of foam tape to the rest of the card panel
- Adhere the card panel to the card base
- Place printed lemon and lavender ephemera on the card using foam tape and glue glitter sentiment at both ends across the centre of the circle
- Stamp mini greeting on black cardstock, heat emboss with yellow embossing powder and cut to size (mine was 6/16th x 1.75 inches)
- Place mini greeting on foam tape and place at the base of the card.
- Use Nuvo drops to add small glittered dots on different areas of the card in groups of three
- Trim the fringe at the sides of the card until all layers are even.
- Share your new handmade card with someone special!

I would love to see your take on this versatile card. Make a change to the colour scheme or greeting to see what you come up with. If you are inspired by this post, tag me on Instagram @creativeibby so I can see your creations.
