Simon Says Stamp – Dream Big Release – Geo Aria Stamp

Sharing this clean and simple card made using the Geo Aria Stamp from Simon Says Stamps new Dream Big release. This gorgeous stamp reminds me of stained glass so I tried this fun technique with nuvo drops that I have been thinking of.

Here’s how I made this card.

I squeezed different colours of nuvo drops on to a flat sheet of cling wrap. You can use any non stick material. I used a palette knife to spread the nuvo drops into a flat sheet and left it to dry.

Meanwhile I cut a square into a front card panel as well as through the entire card base to create an opening for my “stained glass”. When the nuvo drops had dried I stamped the Geo Aria on the nuvo drop sheet using Versamark Onyx Black Ink. I then used the Simon Says Stamp Dot runner to adhere the sheet to the back of the open front panel and added a few thread details using gold thread .

I stamped sentiments from the Born to Sparkle Clear stamp set and mounted with foam tape on the card base. and watched the light shine through.
