Orange floral stitched card with Cricut

Hi friends,

Sharing this card today made with hand stitching and my Cricut explore. You can click this link to find the project on Cricut design space: CRICUT DESIGN SPACE PROJECT

Cut the entire project in design space and follow the steps below. If you don’t have a Cricut you can use any Cardmaking and stitching supplies you have with the instructions below to make a beautiful project.

Here are the steps

1. Use a tracing wheel and ruler to create a border around your A2 card front and 3 equidistant vertical lines within the border. HERE IS A VIDEO SHOWING HOW I DO THIS. It shows a different card but the way the holes are made is the same.

2. Use a piercing tool to pierce holes before stitching with your choice of thread colors. I find it easier and neater to stitch after piercing holes instead of trying to pierce with just a needle.

3. Cut florals, leaves and sentiment with Cricut machine as in project link.

4. Ink blend with distress oxide inks to add depth to the cuts.

5. Arrange on card front and adhere completed panel to A2 card base.

Your card is complete!
